• Demonstrate to stockists that you are a trained and competent user of such products.
• Provide reassurance to your customers that you are qualified and professional in you business practices.
• Be able to use the RAMPS (UK) Approved logo on your vehicle and business documents.
• Benefit from being recommended to customers by RAMPS (UK).

• Demonstrate that you are a trained and responsible stockist.
• Evidence that you comply with the restricted sale of such products.
• Use the RAMPS (UK) approved logo at your shop, store and on business documents.

• Complete one of the relevant level 2 qualification in The Use of Aluminium Phosphide (as approved by Of Qual).
• Use the RAMPS (UK) Approved logo on business material.

RAMPS UK has ben formed to assist sellers and users of metallic phosphide products for vertebrate and invertebrate control, as well as those who provide advice or training in their sale and use, RAMPS UK will be run by an Executive Committee which will meet at regular intervals. Stockists, users, advisors and trainers are able to apply for membership as follows:

Full Members are companies and individuals who are specifically involved in the sale, supply, training relating to, and or use of metallic phosphide products and are entitled to be voted onto the executive committee.

Associate Members are individuals who who can demonstrate compliance with the necessary external regulatory standards, who fully support the aims and intents of the Association, and who agree to promote such aims and intents in a constructive and responsible manner (see chairman’s report).

Observer Members are persons and organisations invited by the company to support the company in promoting the aims of RAMPS UK. They will be typically Government Agencies and other industry bodies.

Every Member, whether full or otherwise, will receive regular news bulletins and updates published by RAMPS UK and be invited to attend regular events and seminars.

Obligations on Members of RAMPS UK

• Users and trainers should be prepared demonstrate sufficient qualifications and those of their staff, as required for their roles.
• Distributor members will be required to register those stores which sell metallic phosphide products with BASIS (Registration) Limited or a similar body that audits the quality of pesticide stores, together with the required level of compliance to the Poisons Rules.
